"She's losing her mind!"

Which is what everyone kept saying when I had my first anxiety attack. People who haven't had them seem to believe that it isn't as bad as I make it out to be. I envy these people. Those who suffer from panic disorder may know what I mean but as for those who don't, here's what it's like (well, it's how I feel every time I have an attack):
Your heart begins to race and you can feel every inch of your body pulsating. You feel a throbbing pain in your head and it suddenly becomes difficult for you to breathe. You try to run for help but you lose control of your body. Immediately, the words 'I am going to die' embed themselves in your mind.
Well, I guess you get the idea. Where I live, not a lot of people have anxiety attacks which is probably why my parents thought that there was something very wrong with me. Without hesitation, they took me to a psychologist who would, according to them, 'fix me'.

More to come.
